Border Stops, Honeycomb Beards, and Seaside Views: Our Zipline Road Trip Begins

On our left, we were treated to stunning sea views, with rocky and sandy beaches lining the horizon. There were swings and small structures being built—beachside parks in progress. At one point, we passed a giant, pristine football pitch right by the coast, on our right, there were various restaurants and those typical Arab homes you see in the Middle East, designed to keep out the heat.

Ghost-Free Hotel, Late-Night Lulu Adventures and a Heartbroken Aussie: Khasab Unfiltered

Before heading out, he grabbed two bottles of Wild Herb Nando’s sauce to take back to London. As we reached the checkout, I turned to him and said, "Do you realise our parents have no idea where we are?"
And there we were, standing in the checkout line of a supermarket in the middle of a mountain range in the Middle East, laughing at the randomness of it all.

Edge of Fear, Heart of Adventure: Ziplining Through Khasab's Jaw-Dropping Views

Just a few steps later, the breathtaking scenery unfolded before us in all its natural glory. Directly below was the winding road we had just ascended, a narrow thread etched into the mountainside. To the right, the rugged mountain range rose majestically, its peaks kissed by sunlight filtering through their jagged edges. And to the left, the vast blue sea stretched endlessly, its waves moving in synchronized patterns.

THE OMAN ROAD TRIP

Travelling to North India: A magical Adventure

Amritsar Road Trip

Sweetcorn vendors steaming away, offering their tempting wares, and a stall adorned with 'Shahtoot' (mulberries) caught my attention. The rickshaws, now equipped with motors, beeped their way through the lively streets, a testament to the city's ever-evolving landscape. Stepping into a clothing store, my mom's eyes sparkled at the sight of vibrant traditional garments and elegant chandeliers. Meanwhile, as soon as we stepped out, relief flooded over me, though my ears still echoed with the cacophony of noise from within.

Unraveling the Magic of the North: The Delhi to Amritsar Road Trip Discovery

Arriving in Amritsar, we felt a shift in the atmosphere—a palpable sense of reverence and belonging. Here, amidst a predominantly Sikh population, the streets were adorned with the majestic presence of Gurdwaras, their towering architectural marvels casting a luminous glow upon the surroundings. Men, adorned in vibrant turbans, walked with pride, embodying the essence of their faith. This part of India resonated deeply with me, drawing me closer to my roots, especially as it shared borders with Pakistan—a country I have longed to explore.

Delving into the Soul of Amritsar: A Tale of Timeless Traditions

It was a stirring sight, reminiscent of the congregations I had only witnessed within the sacred confines of the Golden Temple itself. The sheer magnitude of Sikhs paying homage in one place was awe-inspiring, leaving an indelible impression on my heart. It reinforced the enduring spirit of Sikhi and the profound impact of Baba Deep Singh Ji's legacy on the community.

PADDLING THROUGH PARADISE

Kayaking in Pag – A Magnificent Mishap Part 1

Kayaking in Pag – My Favourite Experience Yet Part 2

The next hour of kayaking was an absolute blast! We paddled away, singing our hearts out to Bruno Mars, and laughing loudly as we kept an eye on the rest of the group. This part of the tour made me realize just how much I loved being here. The coastal views were mesmerising, the waters crystal clear, and the overall vibe was so peaceful.

Despite my optimism, I found myself going in the wrong direction, guided by the sight of houses that I assumed would lead me to the hut-like office for the kayak tour. Families were enjoying their time in the front gardens of their homes that were designed to keep out the heat. Some were sipping on cold beers, while others were returning from local supermarkets with their groceries. However, when I asked for directions, I was met with a simple response of "No English" in a surprisingly good English accent.

Floating Above Pamukkale: Sunrise Views and Serenity: Part 1

Beneath us lay a clear, greenish-blue lake where foot-long fish gracefully swam. A group of swans moved in perfect harmony, almost as if they were dancing (or twerking) as they entered the water. In the center of the lake, a large rock-like structure was surrounded by stunning pink and green leafy trees, with the Turkish flag proudly displayed at its heart.

Walking on Clouds: The Magic of Pamukkale's Travertine Terraces: Part 2

The Ancient Greco-Roman city, a religious site dedicated to Pluto, the God of the underworld, where toxic gases emanated from a cave, believed to be a gateway to the underworld. Hierapolis was famous for its thermal springs, and the Pamukkale Terraces were formed by mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down the mountainside, leaving behind these beautiful structures resembling terraces.
