My time at the Arabian Desert Safari was wild! I hopped on a buggy and cruised around, surrounded by animals with crazy horns. I kept bugging the driver about safety, but I think he wanted to ditch me out there. I had never given eye contact to so many animals with horns in my life.
The African Village was the entertaining! I got to feed giraffes with carrots and lettuce (for a small fee, of course). Then, I hopped on a bus to check out the locked-up area with lions, rhinos, and zebras. The guide even joked about hugging lions, but I didn't take it lightly since my seatbelt was unbuckled within seconds. Oh, and that Gorilla? He was just chilling, showing off his backside to everyone. I swear he was messing with us, but I bet he'd find a way to take off any shorts they put on him!
After spending time with the turtles, I thought I had seen it all. But then, as I was leaving, the security guard and I had a relaxed conversation in Hindi. He mentioned the bird sanctuary, which I had no idea about. Intrigued, I turned around and began my search. On my way, I passed the Gorilla again, but this time it was sleeping while sitting. Finally, I found the bird sanctuary and was amazed by its beautiful greenery and illuminated surroundings. As I entered, I was greeted by a pair of roosters. My plan was to climb to the top for a breath-taking view. The sunlight was casting a perfect glow on certain parts of the sanctuary. At the bottom, I encountered a peacock flaunting its vibrant feathers. I was admiring the layout of the rocks and the gentle streams of water when I spotted a giant lizard, expertly camouflaged among the stones. I made my exit slowly, taking in the incredible sights.
Despite my curiosity to see the lizards, I decided to steer clear of the reptile area. The thought of being in a room full of snakes was enough to make me change my mind. As I ventured through the Safari Park, the scorching heat added an extra thrill to my exploration of Dubai Wildlife. It was a place to love, where I found myself basking in the sun while observing monkeys engage in playful arguments. The tranquillity of a hippo lazily lounging in the water and the joy of witnessing elephants bathing in their massive pool were the little moments that made the experience a little more engaging.
